Mpeople recruitment are excited to be recruiting on behalf of our client who are based in Shaw Oldham for a Purchase Ledger.
Our client is an extremely well established company who continue to grow and develop and they have a great opportunity for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team in Oldham.
Hours: 37.5 hours Monday to Friday
Salary: upto £22,000 dependant on experience.
Please note: This role will require a candidate with very good Administration skills and the ability work on Excel.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reconcile monies with the bank and Sage
- Post all direct debits, supplier payments and petty cash
- Agree purchase orders
- Reconcile supplier statements
- Produce a weekly supplier payment list for cash flow purposes
- Payment of supplier accounts by Bacs
- Gain authorisation and post overhead invoices
- Transfer agreed purchase invoices to Sage
- Monitoring of referral fees and posting on Sage
- Liaise with depots by phone and email to resolve any invoice queries
- Liaise with suppliers by phone and email / request copy invoices, statements, allocation of payments Issue the weekly draw down
- Obtain authorisation and issue payment of expense forms
Knowledge and Skills required:
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Ability to work independently on a project when required
- Ability to work in a team.
- Good communication skills
- Organisation skills
