This is a standalone role and the job holder needs to be able to provide a hands on 1st – 3rd line technical support to internal users within a small business. They will become the first point of contact in dealing with a bespoke IT providers and help the business identify ways to increase system efficiency and move the business forward technically. The post holder will have a proactive approach ensuring systems and equipment are maintained to a high standard and running effectively and be able to identify and implement technical requirements as the business continues to grow.
- Provide 1st, 2nd line and 3rd line support to internal users
- Support with server upgrades and migrations. Ensure server space is monitored and backed up
- Upgrade of software and hardware
- Network and Wi-Fi troubleshooting
- Preventative maintenance tasks for all internal systems
- Purchasing of both hardware and software, in line with budgets
- Setting up new starters IT equipment and systems
- Manage all IT aspects of office moves
- Liaising with 3rd party providers to positively influence the service we require from them
- Project management including system implementations
- Influence stakeholders to adopt new IT processes/ consider new technologies to move the company forward
