HR Manager

Leeds

Up to £60K plus bonus and excellent pension contribution

Reporting to the HR Business Partner you will be responsible for leading the HR initiatives, processes and programs for the site.  The HR Manager is responsible for providing functional expertise on issues and matters including employee relations, performance management, organisational design and development, conflict resolution, HR Policies and procedures, compensation and statutory regulations.

Duties and responsibilities to include:

Attract, recruit, retain and develop talent

Build internal and external networks

Partner with hiring managers and talent acquisition manager to recruit top talent for the business

Create development plans and succession planning

Facilitate regular communication meetings, team building events and employee recognition activities

Lead the development and implementation of culture improvement plans

Develop and maintain positive employee relationships

Provide oversight, support and guidance to employee led teams in the areas of health and safety, reward and recognition, employee communication and community involvement

Provide expert HR guidance and support to managers and employees

Lead the timely and quality execution of HR processes and procedures, including delivering any training sessions, maintaining accurate employee records and files

Providing HR support to drive key division and HR functional initiatives and projects - managing staffing at appropriate levels to meet business goals

Implement and maintain procedures to minimize absence/sickness

Workforce planning short and long term

Internal/External trend, data analysis in key areas

Previous experience is required within a similar role, with some supervisory experience, and a HR qualification
Minimal travel will be required within the role,
