Mpeople Recruitment are currently seeking an Accounts Office Supervisor to join a thriving and well-established wholesaler based in Rochdale.
- Salary: £23,000 - £26,000 dependent on experience
- Location: Rochdale (OL16)
- Hours of work: 09:00 – 17:30, Monday – Friday
The Accounts Office Supervisor will support the company manager and the FC to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the finance function. This role is a varied position, and will cover but not be limited to:
- Purchase Ledger
- Sales Ledger and Credit Control
- Bank reconciliations
- Credit card reconciliations
- Day-to-day supervising/managing of other employees within the Finance team
- Assisting with any HR queries
- Assisting with the management of sister companies as required
The ideal candidate will have good understanding of accounting processes, controls and will be able to work flexibly. They will be self-motivated, with a positive outlook and a clear focus on accuracy, whilst naturally assessing their own performance and showing initiative.
Experience, Skills & Attributes Required:
- Minimum of one year of experience within an office supervisor/assistant manager/manager type position is desired
- Aways adopts a professional approach
- Proficient in MS Office; including Excel, Word and Outlook
- Experience with Sage 200 would be advantageous
- Be very confident in decision making
- Eye for detail
- Be able to deal with ever changing priorities and be able to adapt to new situations
- Be confident on the telephone when speaking with customers and suppliers
