Are you an experienced Customer Support Manager and thrive in a fast paced Sales/Customer service environment? If you are experienced within a construction/industrial industry and have managed a small team, then this is the role for you! Working for an established family run business who are going through a period of growth , this is an exciting time to join this business. there is a salary of up to £30,000 along with a rewarding bonus.
The Role:
- Acting as the key contact for some customers
- Liaising with departments internally to provide excellent levels of customer service
- Handle inbound, telephone, customer retention enquiries
- Deal with all complaints and termination letters and if you can’t retain engage the Sales Manager to support
- Set your own appointments resulting from these inbound enquiries
- Manage the P&L of individual customers so that revenue is retained and increased and profit
- Margins meet and exceed agreed targets
- Resolve any conflicts or issues
- Identify new business opportunities within existing customer portfolio including up-selling and cross-selling
- Maintain a healthy pipeline of potential new, cross-selling and up-selling opportunities
- Assist with the Credit Control and Finance teams to ensure that payment terms are adhered
- Reduce debtor days by including debt discussions as part of review meetings
- Continually review the service offering to ensure that customer requirements/expectations are met, facilitating service changes where necessary
About You:
- Experienced within account management and customer service
- Excellent customer relationships /communication skills
- Self motivated and able to coach and motivate others
- Used to working in a fast paced office
- Down to earth and genuine personality
There is a salary of up to £30,000 along with a generous bonus scheme, on site parking and a strong benefits package.
