Are you an experienced  Buyer and are available  to start work within the next few weeks? Do you want to work for an amazing business who offer an outstanding benefits package and have a fantastic reputation  within their filed? This is a FTC  role and you will ideally come from a Construction/Engineering background and have the Institute of Purchasing qualification. There is a salary of up to £28,000 on offer.

The Role:

  • Negotiate prices with suppliers for annual agreements and contracts
  • Procure materials and services in line with MRP and project plans ensuring materials are in line with cost, quality and delivery performance indicators
  • Maintain system integrity within Procurement function ensuring key performance targets are met and continual improvements made
  • Take an active role in developing and implementing improvements of the procurement function through a proactive approach to new technology, techniques and sources of supply
  • Manage vendor performance to meet organisational KPI’s
  • Liaise closely with internal customers at site locally and globally
  • Soliciting competitive bids through RFQ’s
  • Maintaining a suitable and diverse pool of suppliers
  • Manage supplier relationships
  • Adhere to purchasing procedures 

A salary of up to £28,000 is on offer along with an outstanding  benefits package, including flexi working.
