Our Client Based in South Kirkby and recruiting for a dependable, motivated Assistant Logistics Manager to work for a successful fast growing business. 

Main responsibilities

• Manage the Day to Day Fleet Operation
• Ownership of Service level
• Motivate, Coach and support the team
• Drive business culture
• Ensure all products are delivered to company standards
• Ensure that all transport records are maintained to DVSA guidelines
• Supervise & Support the Our onsite Garage VMU
• Ensure we hit our customer contracted KPIs weekly, monthly & annually
• Deliver H&S targets working alongside team
• Delivery team briefs and communicate effectively
• Positively support senior site management in satisfying their Statutory Health and Safety requirements
• Concise & precise communication with several internal business functions
• Develop relationships with key suppliers
• Experience in Chilled & Frozen 
• On Call responsibility outside of Working hours for Emergencies
