Our client is actively recruiting for a entry level Assistant Buyer. Working as part of a team you will be responsible for:
Assisting with Purchasing goods, materials, components and services negotiating best prices and quality.
Support the Purchasing function and relevant departments as required
Act as an interface between suppliers and departments
Work closely within the Purchasing team to review opportunities and suggest improvements
Involved in new projects and activities
Prepare and raise purchase orders and invoices
Build, manage and maintain relationships
Contact suppliers via email and phone to resolve price, quality and invoice issues
Good communication and negotiation skills
Able to manage time effectively
