Assistant Accountant

Up to £26K depending on experience

As Assistant Management Accountant you will liaise closely with the Financial Controller, Management Accountant and internal members of staff to provide a customer focused service to both internal and external customers.

Ideally AAT part qualified or above

Main duties and Responsibilities include:

Assisting with the preparation of the monthly Management Accounts packs

Maintain and update the fixed asset registers

Supporting the Management Accountant

Assistance with daily, weekly ad monthly accounting reporting

Prepare the balance sheet reconciliation for review

Dealing with general account queries

Assisting with internal and external audits

Supporting with annual tax pack and annual audits

Producing reports on expenditure and income

Working on Sage 200 accounting package

Ad-hoc admin duties.

The ideal candidate should be AAT part qualified or above, with some proven accounts work experience.  You will be able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team. Work to deadlines, with a can do attitude.
