Account Development Manager
Leeds
£24K plus competitive commission realistic OTE of £32K
Reporting to the Sales Director, you will be responsible for an allocation of clients, maintaining relationships, stretching and building potential new business, and researching potential new markets.
This is a varied position, managing existing accounts and developing new business where possible.
Key accountabilities:
Own, hit and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets from your client base both existing and new
Achieve agreed targets for margin growth from existing customer base
Do follow up quotes
Check open quotes and follow up dates - maintain above 35% quote conversion rate
Maintain contact with clients/customers on a regular basis
Identify new areas of growth, by working your way through your accounts
Research and record, where they currently spend/products etc
Price list
Research and attend exhibitions and open days of potential customers - attend 6 exhibitions per year
Converting non spending customers
Work with the Sales Director to develop customer contact strategy
High volume of strategic calls inbound and outbound, qualifying and developing relationships
Communicating with customers over the phone and email.
